Kind of a goofy idea that's been rolling around. Big deal lately is heavy for caliber bullet/boolits, pushed slowly, many times with not so large amounts of powder.
OK then. You take the 7mm BR case, size it up to 8mm, stick a 8mm Maximum boolit in it and it Bob's yer uncle!
My orinal thought was to do an 8mm TCU as a hog pistol in the contender, but an 8mm BR could be way easy as a Mauser, feasible, I think, in a Mosin, and of course, the XP and Contender.
