Okay, I found 2 thousand lbs of lino about 2 hrs north of me.the guy is talking 70 cents a pound but he said make him a offer. What would be a good offer to make? I can't use it all just thought I'd buy it then offer it here.

Even .70/lb is a great price. Buy all of it !! Sell some of it here to members and share the bounty!

70 cents a pound is a great price, but I would offer 50 cents just to see if he would take it. For comparison, RotoMetals sells linotype for $2.63/lb when you buy 2000 pounds.

There is alot of work, fuel and pails involved in transporting 2000 lbs of linotype.

Ok, I got the buy done only got 1000 lbs. I had to pay 75 cents a pound for it but that's still a good buy. I am going to offer 500 lbs of it for sale here in swap& sell. I am going to ask $1.00 a pound for it I figure five hour round trip would be worth 25 cents a pound. Not trying to make money on the Linotype just recoup some gas money, this will let you guy get a good deal on some lino. First thing is I got to figure how to put a picture up. By the way this stuff is in pig form.

photobucket.com is where I do most of my picture hosting.

You should have little trouble selling lino on this site for $1/lb.
