Dried out Lyman lube

Found 5 4oz bottles of old lyman liquid alox lube. Some were cracked and distorted
from old age. So not wanting to throw it out cut open the bottles and scraped out what was left. What can I use to restore it with? I have it in a large glass candle jar with a good lid on it. I have heard of using mineral spirits but do not know what that is. Paint thinner??. If anyone has any info I'd be a very happy camper as I do not want this to go to waste. Thanks, Frank

it is like paint thinner you can buy a gallon can of it at walmart in the paint section. and you are correct that is what you would use to restore it. Good luck happy shootn Make sure you buy Mineral Spirits though. dont just get paint thinner.
