Yep we sent it out w/a bang and a boom even a few clack-ffftt-booms.

It was a great day spent w/my Dad,a life long friend, several aqantances, and a forum lurker.

We shot every sort of arm from a 58' Rem to an LCR Ruger and the rescued Mauser to an AR.

Now we didn't shoot all cast but it was fun and we did burn gobs of powder . Id forgotten just how pleasent the old 7x57 is to shoot . My Dads full bull bbl'd 25-06' is just ............mmmmmmm. The PP'd SKs was even shooting well today.

A day to remember to be sure.

Sounds like you had a blast. I have many fond memories of shooting with my dad. I am passing it down to my son. He is now 18.

Wind was gusting up to 60 and had several mini ground blizzards blow through but did get out just before dark with number two son and his two boys and sent a little powder and lead down range. Kind of a crappy day but then it proves a old theory of mine--- you don't have to be smart to have fun . Today should be better so we are going back for seconds.
