Well, a while back I asked for some help here, and I got a lot. Thanks. Here are some pictures of the two Tru-Line Junior presses I refurbished. I think they came out pretty good . However, to complete them I would like to get an original manual or copy of the manual. Any suggestions?

The one with the dies and #55 is set up with .45 Colt (not acp) dies.

This is one of the before shots, both were in about the same condition

They look real good. Did you blue or paint the black parts?

Nice job, that looks great!

Just getting started doing the same with a compound linkage model I have with a 7/8"-14 die plate, I use it for .45 Colt also. I use mine with the Lyman Multi Expander Die and Acculine Pistol Powder Measure instead of the #55. It's a nice compact but capable combination. It works great for loading .45 Colt. I have a Lyman T-Mag also but, I love the little Tru-line Jr. it takes up so little space and is plenty good for straight walled handgun reloading.

The linkage is a bit loose and needs some spacers / washers to tighten everything up or I may have new linkage made up using steel thats a little thicker.

For paint I'm using Krylon "Pumpkin Orange". Its almost a perfect match to the original Lyman orange. I used it when I repainted my #45 lube sizer, It turned out great and has held up well.

I'll be re-bluing the blued parts but, I haven't decided which bluing to use yet, I've seen lots of good comments about Brownell's OXPHO-BLUE creme (http://www.brownells.com/.aspx/pid=1108/psize=24/Product/OXPHO-BLUE-reg-CREME)

I've got a set of RCBS Cowboy Dies also, If switched out the brass lock rings it would have a sort of retro original die setup look to it. Might do that just for pictures sake when it's done.

Right now I'm using the Universal shell holder but, am looking to get the proper original J Type shell holder for .45 Colt though. See sig
