I have been casting my own bullets now for about 3 years and have decided to go from the Lee tumble lube bullets to a Lyman 4500 and lyman moulds. I see several on Ebay new in box and they include the heaters as well, but some offer a 110, others a 220, 230, 115. Which heater is the best to use?? I assume the higher the wattage the hotter the heater, I do not want a bubbly mess on my hands. I am going to be using this for 45ACP bullets. Which one would be sufficient????

115 or 220 watt, they will both heat the same . . . just put it on a dimmer switch to control the heat. If you live in the US . . . then 115v.

115 volt for the US power supply, I use mine in a Lyman 4500 and works great.

No need for a heater at all. Use a nice soft lube like NRA 50-50 and no heater is needed.

I've given up on my Lyman 4500, at least for now; all my bullet molds are bevel-based and I can't get it adjusted right to put the lube in the groove rather than under the boolit. HOWEVER, when I did have it running good with some flat-based boolits that I bought on ebay (back when you could buy such things on ebay) I just used a heat gun turned down pretty low to warm up the Lyman. A hair dryer would do the same thing.
