From the site:
http://www.oldtowncoleman.com/manuals/user.htm

I grew up with one of these and bought one when I first started camping myself in the early 80's. That stove is still going strong and works fine on our 1-2 camping trips per year. This and a gallon of white gas will last for a very long time. The manual has a low res exploded view. Maybe you can figure it out, I've never needed to do anything other than fill, cook, drain, clean.

Thanks for the info, mine isn't listed though,it's a 425F...The previous owner had a CO2 auto pump in it and I don't know where to buy the same thing,or whats missing here to put it back to being a original manual pump...GT27

The pumping part of the mechanism is the same on virtually ALL models of stoves and lanterns.

Pick any model, and compare it to the parts that you have, and work from there.

here is a diagram...http://www.oldcolemanparts.com/diagrams/416-700J.jpg

You will have to remove the CO2 charger unit and there should be a stem inside that is part of the valving system. The pump will slide over that.
I believe you need to swap out the black "Cap" for the silver cap with 2 holes for the c ring to lock into the tank itself.

Switch it to propane and never look back :)

Thanks all for the help.It seems I have everything in the diagram but #9,the stem...Does anyone know where to find the CO2 type, where you dont have to pump the unit? Thanks again!:cbpour:

yup, you need the stem which is a long brass part with a tapered, pointed end, its function is to allow you to pump air into the tank and then close off the air passage

When I bought mine in 1965 it had a spring that went from the fuel tank to anywhere on the grill. It kept the tank from slipping out of place.

Yes it still works thanks to a retired gentleman from the California desert that sells all kinds of Coleman parts on evil bay.
