I installed mine yesterday, a day before this lovely post. But it was very easy, I required zero modification to my 1894P or sights easy off and on. I used a small wooden dowl rod and a brass hammer to tap it out and in. I have not modified the sight hood yet but will in the next few days. it is a very huge difference in sight pickup and target acquisition. As stated in my other post only issue I had was the red bead stick was not secured in the sight and easily fell out. I am going to epoxy it in place with some Permatex.
