I did some cleaning of brass in my lyman pro 1200 with the small bowl today, 40super posted his method using the same setup, I thought I would give it a try to see how well it worked, I at first used his proportions, it did'nt work for me, so I used the same amount of pins he did, but only used dawn soap and lemishine and a lot more water, they came out just as clean and shiney as my rotary tumbler does them, also I ran the tumbler 1 hour. I think the differance between 40supers outcome is he used a lot of brass, I only had a few cases to clean, this is the method to use if you don't want to pay a lot of bucks on a rotary tumbler. as soon as I collect enought brass I will try this method in a large bowl vib. tumbler. I think it will work.
