Wadcutter or Semi-wadcutter?

Target or Plinkin/Playing load?

Hot or mild?

Too many missing details to come up with much of an answer on a load

3.8 grains of unique in 38 cases, 5.5 grains in .357 cases.
But truly, I shot 10's (maybe hundreds) of thousands of these boolits in 38's, loaded over 2.8 grains of red dot or 2.7 Bullseye, with a brief excursion into 3.0 Grains of HP 38. That is what I'd recommend if you have the brass. (hard to believe that 38 brass might be hard to come bye, but there it is--the revenge of the bottom feeders.

3.3 Titegroup for 38spc. ( i know this powder is not listed, but I haven't met a little revolver that didn't LOVE this load )

I can`t begin to guess the many thousands of .38`s I`ve loaded with 3.0 gr. of 231, HP-38 and Red Dot with WC bullets in the weight range listed. I believe I used 5.0 gr. of Red Dot in a .357 case.Robert

I like to shoot 148gr WC over 3.0gr Clays in a 357mag case. I have never had an issue with a stuck bullet. And I have shot a couple thousand of these in the past year.
