rear mounted sitght

I've got a handi rifle in 45-70. Wwith the short barrel and forward mounted site the distance between the sights is just too short. Does anyone make a sight that mounts more toward the rear of the barrel?

Check the Williams peep site website they have numerous that are for the handi rifle.

I have the WGRS and it's ok. I'd go for Skinner's though if it were me. ;)

I put a Williams on my H&R 158 in .30-30. I did have to put on a taller front sight.

I have a Williams FP on my 45-70 handy rifle and it works fine and is much better than the rear sight the rifle comes with I have the same sight on my 357 mag and 36-55 barrels as well and they all are just what the doctor ordered.
