I make these several times a year.
They are best made over charcoal.
Even though it's cold around Christmas,
it is worth the effort and taste great


Firecracker Shrimp
½ cup apricot preserves
1 teaspoon canola oil
1 teaspoon soy sauce
½ - 1 tablespoon red pepper flakes
1 lb. large uncooked shrimp

Combine and mix first 4 ingredients. Thread shrimp on skewers.
Grill over medium heat. Basting frequently. Turn every 2-3 minutes until shrimp turns pink.
