Was thinking is aluminum harder than copper. I sent for one of Pats check makers an would like to know would aluminum be hard on a Lee push through sizer die? I wouldnt think so but thought I would ask.

It will not hurt the lee sizer.

No problems here.
Just be sure you have loobed your boolits before you go shoving them through.
You can Tumble loob. Or dip, or what have you.
I tried WD40, but found it lacking as a lead loob.

I set checks (Aluminum), then rack dip 50 at a time in hot loob. After that I cut them out with my kake kutter from the rack and size.
I'm doing the last of my 30 cal today.

Then, somewhere down the road, I'm going to try some different alloy to see how it pop's with Unique.
But I have about 1000 boolits to use up in the mean time. Clean, loobed, sized, ready to load.

Unloobed boolits in a Lee sizer will score and luke lik chit, mon. (And they are hard to size)

PS:
Go find some .014" aluminum flashing.
Amerimax 68004 (http://www.amerimax.com/productdetail.asp?iProductId=81&iSubCatID=5#) (4" X 50 feet)
See the Standard type.
You will punch 9 per 1/2" X 4" piece.

Aluminum might be the way for me to go since I can just buy it locally at Lowes. Thanks for answering the questions I was about to ask.

Woo-ho!
Local Ace Hardware had Amerimax 68104 in stock. Once Pat Marlins 45 check maker gets here I'm in business. I have a pile of 45-70 slugs that need GC'ed and run thru the lyman 450

Word to the wise, friend.
The flashing my Lowe's carries is doo-doo.
The thinnest, .007". Take along your 1" micrometer. ;)
Osh Hardware carries the .0092". And I liked it for it's "two tone" anodizing.
But wound up ordering the 68104 Amerimax flashing.

I'm still pineing away for 1/2" X .014-.016" aluminium banding or strapping material. [smilie=s:
