What's the deal on a bullet feeder for progressive press? I have an Dillon 550B and am considering a Hornady Lock N Load. I have heard that some have modified the Lee bullet feeder to work on the Dillon or Hornady. Has anyone done this? What's the draw backs? What's involved in making it work?

I have see several after market bullet feeders for the Dillon 650 but the price is just about silly..not to mention they look like an attachment the Borg would attach.

Thanks...

Here's a bullet feeder (http://www.bulletfeeder.com/photos.htm) that looks pretty cool. The price is $550 though and it doesn't feed lead boolits with wax based lube. I wonder if the harder waxes would work.

I started to mount a Lee bullet feeder on my Dillon 550 press .
All the parts have been laying on the reloading bench for ............. WAY toooo long
Can't see any major problems , just may need to use Lee dies ( not sure )
:coffee: Other than I just haven't got around to working on it :coffee:

I have had no problems with my Lee bullet feeder, after a short learning curve, that is. The bottom of the Lee bullet seating die,(pistol) is tapered to spread apart the fingers that hold the bullet. Dale

I think my bullet feeder will work ok once I figure out what they like to eat.
