I am scheduled for cataract surgery next Tuesday. Just getting it corrected for far. Left eye still pretty good, but will decide on that one after the right is fixed.:Fire:

Has anybody had the LASIK surgery to correct astigmatism?

A friend of mine had lasik on his eyes and it only lasted less than three years.

You won't regret it. I had cataract surgery on my "bad" eye (cataracts + AMD) two weeks ago today. During my final post-op check this afternoon, vision in that eye had improved from 20/40 (pre-surgery - wearing my glasses) to 20/25...WITHOUT THE GLASSES!! Have the surgery for the other eye scheduled for a week from tomorrow.
