Trying to figure the BC of this 45 cal rifle boolit. Its 400 grains with check on, and leaves the pipe at 2350.Any help appreciated

It would help a lot if you could get a down range velocity. Any possibility you could take your chrony out 50 or 100 yards from muzzle and get reading there? The rate at which the bullet loses velocity is the determining factor in assigning a BC number to it. At least I think so... It's velocity loss (deceleration) determines (and is determined by) it's BC.

There are fellas on here that have puter programs that they plug the numbers into and it comes pretty close
