Have been looking at the LEE .452 flat nose mold, # 90359. It's a 300 gr. gc bullet.
Was wondering if anyone here has used it and their results. I have read that the newer revolvers i.e. Ruger Super Blackhawk can be pushed to higher velocities vs. the older revolvers chambered for this caliber. Was wondering if anyone has used this bullet & how far they have pushed the velocity.:?:

I have shot alot of these boolits in both my 45LC BH and 454 FA83. In the BH I don't usually drive it faster that 1100 and in the FA I push it at 1750. Great boolit it really whops hogs.

Thanks for the info! I'm going to go ahead & order the mold from Track Of The Wolf. Their price is the same as Midway but their shipping is cheaper and no small order fee. 1100 FPS is plenty fast enough with that big boolit for whopping hogs!!
