Charlie Two Tracks

I was working on my Bass Tracker and put in a new trolling motor. The motor needs a 60 amp fuse to conform with USCG standards. I used 4 ga. wire (22 ft) to reach from the back of the boat to the trolling motor and not have a voltage drop. I used Anderson connectors to make the connection up front. Those Anderson connectors are pretty strong and have a deep socket for the wire. Instead of using up a bunch of solder, I used a .358 boolit of mine and melted it into the connector and then pushed in the wire while keeping the lead fluid. Seems to have made a great connection. I shouldn't have a resistance problem since the batter terminals are lead. Another use for a wrinkled cast boolit!
