Another old soldier on the firing line

Several years ago I bought a pair of stripped M1 receivers and a Criterion .308 barrel, and one "still in the wrap" GI 3-1952 .30-06 barrel. All from the good graces of the CMP.
Earlier this week I screwed on the barrel and finish reamed the .308 barrel. Tonight I unwrapped the GI barrel and washed it in Kerosene. It is perfect in every way. In the next week or so, I will instal the barrel. At this point, I need a finish reamer but cannot squeeze the budget any more for a while. Anyone want to let me borrow a reamer? I will gladly pay postage and offer the loan of my once used, .308 finish reamer on some future project.

have an '06 finish reamer, but it wont work for your Garand. You'll need the one that turns from the front, I believe, with a rod through the bore. The receiver won't let you turn the one I have.
