Hi Guys,

Do any of you have any ideas on how to build this:
www.hoeningbigboresouth.com/HBBS_Heat_Crimper.html
This guy only builds for the 410 (and rocks at it) and I need 20 ga.

No this ain't your average slug ammo.:p

I have one, uses a Lee Factory Crimp die to do the crimp with a thermostat controlled heater band over it. If you could make the FCD, rest would be pretty simple.

Btw, their 410 set up isn't your typical 410 by a far cry. Been using one the last 3 years and you can really turn the burners on in a Encore.

Hi Al,
I've been trying to get some work done on a 20 ga. Hellboy project and the price of custom brass is just killing me.
Now if I use 3 inch plastic and use the heat crimp then all my brass problems are over.

2 questions.
How is the heater attached to the die?
Is there any identifying marks on the heater?

I think its a hot water heater with a customized element, but its so hard to tell from a small pic.

Cheers, John
