We just did a children's Christmas party at our local Elks lodge and one of the ladies brought some peanut butter cookies that contained no flour.
1 cup peanut butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg.
Mix sugar and egg until semi liquid, add peanut butter, roll into 1" balls, put on cookie sheet, press flat with fork. Bake in 350 degree oven for 8 minutes.

I can tell you they are like eating peanut butter straight out of the jar :awesome:

When I make those, I add 1/2 tsp of baking soda and some chocolate chips.

I would hope so, we did label it and tell parents they had peanuts in them.

Dang it again! They are just too good and easy to make. First batch just got out of the oven The first batch just got out of the oven and I burned my fingers trying to taste the first one. Man they are good with a cold glass of milk and so easy even a donch like me can make them in no time.

Made my first batch, could be my oven but I think a little more heat maybe 375 would be better, BUT man are they rich in peanut butter.
I'd also cut back on the sugar 3/4 cup instead of a full cup.

Your not helping me lose any weight. A few years ago I made peanut butter cookies with the grandkids I got distracted and forgot the peanut butter? they were not bad sugar cookies though.

We made those for the Emmas walks, had some members who were glutten intolerant. The baking soda makes it look like you are eating more so it helps with weight loss (;=)

You can skip the egg in this recipe, doesn't seem to hurt it .

we make those , very best peanut butter cookie i have had , it would be hard to get any more peanut buttery

i thought for sure that my wife was crazy when she came home with that recipe about 10 years ago , but the sugar caramelizes to hold them together

Okay another try, 3/4 cup "Baking Sugar" this stuff is super fine, 1 egg well beaten, 1 cup peanut butter mix well, I found adding beaten egg to sugar then wisking well, add peanut, roll into small balls flatten with fork and bake at 375 for 10 minutes :awesome:

Found a similar recipe on allrecipes.com (highly recommended site). In the comments from other users, a couple modifications were made. Added those changes and it made a wonderful difference.

Basically, substitute 1/2 cup of brown sugar for a 1/2 cup of the white.
Add 1/2 to 1 tsp of vanilla extract to the mix.

Very good eats and very easy to double the recipe, since they don't seem to last long!

Made a batch one time that I pressed the mixed up cookie dough in the bottom of an 8X8 baking dish. Filled it in with brownie mix and baked until the brownie mix was done. That disappeared in a real hurry!
