Looking for anybody that has converted this action to singleshot,inline ignition muzzleloader. Mine needs lots of work. Just figured it would be better off as a muzzleloader. Any ideas or comments?

Cabela's used to sell a Pedersoli RB muzzleloader. I saw one at the last gun show. It would not be too difficult to do especially if you wanted to use 209 primers.

If the action is good enough to use as a muzzleloader it should be good enough to build a black powder cartridge rifle out of. Would be worth more money in the end also.

I have 2 RB rifles. First is a Pedersoli Creedmoor in 40-65, the second is a Swedish RB in 8 X 58R. This was converted to a sporter in 1891 by the Swedish government from 11mm black powder and sold to private citizens.

Both are excellent shooters and fun to play with.

Thanks for the imfo. Have just located complete RB in 50/70. Good barrel but everything else was butchered by some now it all. Just want something diff. Will let know how it works out.
