Is the rcbs 321-170 in a 32-40 case to long to clear the chamber when loaded for a 1893 marlin? And if this is the case would it work in re-formed 32 win spl cases?

Right now the shop owns 2/3s of the 1893 I asked about, I own the other 1/3, [smilie=l:.

I would like to start gathering the bits & pieces together now so I can take the old gal out when I pick it up. I do have some re-formed 30-30 brass & know both come out short. TIA.

The 32 spl. will come out about the same as a 30-30 case. The 32 is just slightly longer than the 30-30. I don't know much about the 32-40 and cartridge over all length, although I would start out seating deep and then moving out until you can see that it just clears the rear of the barrel. I'm quit sure some one will have a better answer.
