Try the S & K Insta-Mounts for ex-military rifles. They are a no-gunsmith mount that does not require any drilling - uses existing holes, and the rifle is not modified in any way. I have one on my M1917 Eddystone and it is very nice, and it will hold a zero no problem - and they guarantee it.

+1 for the S&K. I have several Lee Enfields with them mounted on and they are great. You will have to add a cheek-rest to bring your eye into alignment with the scope but that would be true with any mount.

The SK mount seems very popular for the Enfield.

Can the rifle be loaded with stripper clips while the scope is mounted? Just curious as it would be neat if it could.
