LEAD from fishing nets?

Anyone know anything about the lead weights from fishing nets??? Are they pure lead? Are they worth .39 lb.

I have found that all that i have come across has been real soft if not pure lead i just melted down about 100 lb about 3 months ago they made good black powder bullets :castmine: 44woody

could be anything the local fisherman make there own and have used pure and wws to make it. Whatever they can get ahold of.
