if my allow is the same from one batch to the next and use the same mold, what would be the most reason for the bullet to cast larger? i had a batch that sizes harder and you can see the grease grove get smaller after sizing. thanks

1.) If the alloy is the same, its temperature can influence bullet size. Usually not much more than 0.0005" in daimeter.

2.) Assuming this is a new mold, your first casting session could have produced smaller bullets from lack of seasoning, contamination, mold overheating, to name a few.

3.) Your latest casting session (larger bullets) could have been caused by the mold not closing fully. Check it for burrs or bits of lead. Also measure some bullets and see if they're out of round compared to your first session.
