This is one of my favorite rounds that I have reloaded for years, but can no longer find it. If I buy some half jackets, how much work would this round be to make? This would be my first attempt at swagging, so I would need a lot of help. I have a Rockchucker as a press, and I don't mind buying new molds for the slug. Any help at all would be great. Thanks!!

You can make those in a CH4D 105 swaging die. The one for half jackets. Not sure if you can get a hollow point punch for it or not.

yep the ch4d 105 will make it but where are you getting your half jackets? those are 3/4 aren't they? you can make them with Corbin and RCE lead bullet dies. I make them using 40 s&w brass cut down.

you dont have to buy a mold to make your cores too you can get lead wire. If you think you will be making a lot of them it would be cheaper to get a mold. But not necessary.
