Safety was removed along with the lettering and a SS plug was turned and installed.

Thanks!

I wasn't sure I'd like the Brass with SS. I was thinking about having the barrel and magazine tube blued (there is a special method to bluing SS)

But It has grown on me and I like the look.

Is the frame plated or all brass like the Henry & 66?

Just think of it as "in the white".

Good looking rifle. How does it shoot?

None of these "Brass" framed rifles were brass. They were all made out of "Gun Metal" (sometimes called "Red Brass") Much stronger than simple brass.

This rifle's receiver is solid "Gun Metal"...not plated or a simple cover. The real deal!
