8-Point, 160 pounds field dressed yesterday. 1914-vintage Model 1899H Savage, .303 Savage. 190 gr.FNGC Saeco bullet, 12bhn, over 28.0gr. 3031. 105 yards, lasered, tang sights. Yippee!!

Sounds like a good load. I am working with 3031 right now with the 30/30 and a 190 gr Lyman silouette boolit.

I don't know which looks better the deer or the pristine 99. Sure wish my 99 looked that good.
