The new colt 1911 A1 .22 I checked one out the other day and it was very tempting. Just wondering what everyone elses opinions are?

I am sure they are great. But between casting and reloading I can shoot my 10mm as cheap as I buy 22. Where I shoot there is a requirement to p/u brass anyway.

Good gun for youngins.

One of the 1911 .22 copies I looked at has a zinc frame, but for the price they were asking I can understand why it was Zinc. The Chiappa or something similar was the name of this one, I think the Colt branded one is made by Umarex, but I haven't handled one to see what it's like.
