I traded for these. The Colts are real Colts and unfired. 1851 Navy, 1862 Pocket Pistol, and a Remington 1858.

Nice looking guns. I've got an 1860 SA Army Colt replica made by L'Pietra and I love to shoot it. Are you ever going to fire the Colts? Or are they for collecting only? BC

Hate to throw cold water......but that smaller-framed Colt's barrel and lever is of the 1848-49 pattern, not the 1862's pattern with creeping loading lever.

I have a colt second generation 1851 Navy and it shoots about as good as my Piatta. The 1862 is really an 1849 and you do not mention the caliber. Most were in 31 cal but they did make 5 shot 36 caliber and called it the police model. A five shot 1862 35 cal was called their new police model. The Remington 1858 with a brass frame is not a replica of anything Remington made except for shape as they never made any with a brass frame.

Colt called it an 1862 Pocket Pistol. Some call them a Pocket Navy. It's 5 shots and .36 caliber.

It doesn't bother me that they aren't perfect. replicas.

Colt's originaly and concurrently produced the pocket Navy and police models...similiar guns both with rebated cylinders..Police version had the new style barrel and fluted cylinder..pocket Navy had the octagon barrel and usual type lever.

Not for sure..but believe these .36 caliber models replaced the .31 pocket models in the product line..side-hammers too. I believe the only old model to remain in production was the 1851 Navy..and it had a new model partner too..the 1861 Navy.

The 1860 Army .44 replaced the Dragoon of course.
