Target front sight?

Galco makes some decent pancakes like the FLETCH. Also check out Simply Rugged.

Make sure you get a belt that is designed for ccw. There are several brands. They are very stiff and will make a heavy gun like that much less of a burden. Sometimes I carry my 4" 629 in a simply rugged pancake IWB or OWB on a wilderness frequent flyer belt. A good stiff belt is the secret to carrying "real" guns and not pocket pistols.

I'd suggest looking at a Bianchi Model 111 Cyclone. I have one for a 4" 686, it can be worn strong side or crossdraw. Not sure about the target front blade on your piece,:?: mine sports the "Std" front sight. Darn nice holsters.

I'd stick with the target front sight. They are much easier to pick up at speed. Some holster makers to consider are: Galco, Don Hume, Safariland, Talon Tactical (kydex), an entire host of custom holster makers.
You might want to give consideration to a paddle holster, especially one with a good J hook that will catch under the belt. Easy on and off without threading the belt on and off, but good, solid retention and support. Regardless which style you choose, a good belt is a must!

Of course you have to consider how you're built, too. For some folks, like me :), OWB and concealed just don't go together. Paddle holsters are even less concealable, IMHO.

TC-

Howdy !

If you wanna go factory-furnished; I second the motion about use of a M111 Crossdraw. Mine is made from ballistic Nylon, and fits a 4" "N"-frame.
I wear mine strong side, so that my arm and wrist are already in the proper position they'll need to be in to shoot... when I grab & draw the gun.

IF you can $$$ for a custom holster, might I recommend Ken Null of
Resaka, GA ? I've had a LOT of "cow" sized to fit various S & W revolvers.
Kens' work watered my eyes. Fit, finish, functionality, price, delivery time.....
all are first-rate ! Ken's holster was/is the best leather I've used, to-date.
