I recently punched a 9mm mold out to .375" for a core mold. I was wondering if the holes in the sprue plate stay the same size or should they be opened up some also?

Try it before you modify it. It might be fine just like it is.

If the mold was casting fine before I do not see any reason to enlarge the holes. Try casting with it first. Once the mold is up to temperature it should cast fine. But then again I am no expert.

Some of the old 4 cavity lyman and saeco moulds had very small holes and won't work unless ladle cast or pressure bottom pour. Like the advice above, try it first and then adjust if necessary.

Thanks guys! I'll give it a try and see what happens. What should I look for to tell if it needs to be enlarged or not?

If the cavity is filled well I wouldn't change a thing.

I cast .375 bullets regularly with a Lee 2 cavity. The sprue holes are exactly the same size as on my Lee .375, and .30 caliber molds.
