I am going to sell my 45-70 BFR, what is a real world price I can expect out of it?
Thanks.

suppose it all depends on the o/a condition
almost new I suspect about 90% of what you paid new
check the going rates at some of the different gun site's to get an idea

Why sell it??? The very most accurate revolver I have ever shot if you load right. A 2-1/2" group at 500 yards, clang steel at 500 meters! Less then 1" at 100 yards is common. 5 shots in 5/16" at 50 yards. Many 3 hot groups under 1/4".
If I had the money I would grab it right now, like I really need two of them! :-)
The gun is so accurate it is boring so I hardly shoot mine anymore, preferring to get the BFR .475 and .500 JRH recoil under control.

If you can post pics, that will help. Condition is the main factor. .45-70 is one of the most common calibers, so while it is popular, you will also have a lot of competition.

I sold it thanks, it was like new condition with a Millet red dot.
When you need money you have to let things go for not much.

I understand needing money. I hope things get better for you.
