Hello all,

My question is: do parts for a ruger 10/22 work in a magnum research 17/22. The reason I ask, I am thinking of putting in a new trigger for the wife in her rifle for chirstmas.

Thanks in advance,
Adam

Are you talking about the 17HM2 version of the 22RF 10/22?

No. Magnum research makes a 10/22 like rifle called the 17/22.

That's an interesting looking rifle, but it's kind of pricey. For $665, if it isn't ready to do what you want it to do right out of the box, I would probably start with a Ruger 10-22 & make all the mods myself.

...just my personal opinion.

My parents gave it to her for christmas two years ago. I know she can shoot. She shoots my 52b better than i do. I want her rifle to be as good as she is.
