I have a buddy whole loves to chop up military rifles and make bubba's out of them. I tolerate him as he is a constant source of parts and more fun to watch than a cub bear with his head in a jar. In addition I get to charge him to repair he boo boo's.
The upshot of this is that he gifted me wiht a couple of cleaning rods from swede rifles. I need a special screwdriver the other day and since the swede rods are so hard I wet ground a chunk down into one of the finest screwdrivers I ever made. Tuff as all get out and not brittle. Grind slow and keep it wet and you will end up with a super driver. I heated the nether end and flattened it some and then set the whole works in an aluminum handel with some acraglass. I may make a whole set of these.
