Does anyone have an opinion as to which of these two molds is superior? Personal experience with either of them alone is welcome, too. I want to make an informed purchase, since I'll be getting the 6-cav.

I've compared the Lee 148 WC-TL to a Lyman 358495...both shoot about the same in my guns. Using a Chrony the Lee bullet has a bit less spread and a lower std deviation. If one has a Freechex GC (.38 Caliber) making tool you can GC the Lee bullet making it a spectacular load in the .357 Magnum at 1,100 FPS MV.

Well, I'm gettin one more out of this deal anyway. I have TL'd many standard lube gruv boolits and they seem to work just fine. So there. enjoy Mike

+1

I tumble-lube the Lee 148WC and load it with 2.7 Bullseye. Fantastically accurate, consistent, no leading.

I think I'm gonna go with the standard.

I have used both. 2.7 grs. Bullseye works fine.
No leading.
Tumble lube is quick and economical if loading alot of ammo quickly.
