I have an old friend who has collected A LOT of range pickup brass over the decades. Now he would like to sell it. Would it be appropriate for me to place an ad for him for that brass here?

Best way would be for your friend to join CB and make the required posts to be able to start his own threads in S&S.

Next best thing would be for you to take possession of the brass and you personally take all responsibility for selling, shipping, dealing with any other issue that may arise.

Not a bad idea, however if there are many cals, there could be a lot of time involved plus postage etc.etc.etc.
