I am currently using Thompson Blue Angel bullet lube for my boolits and am very satisfied with it save for the price. I would like to try make an equivalent of it but got a bit overwhelmed by all the recipes. Could someone please refer me to a suitable recipe?

if the recipe were known it'd be posted here somewhere.
i can guess at two of it's ingredients though b-wax and blue food or/ candle wax coloring.
i know that magmas lube comes in blue, green, red, and clearish. all made from the same thing but the candle making coloring [parrafin and carnuba]
other lubes could replace the angel you use now,but you'd have to try a couple of them or modify them some to make the viscosity the same.

Isn't blue angel a really hard (heat required) lube?

yeah blue angel is really hard, Missouri Bullets uses it on their cast bullets. I started out pan lubing w/ blue angel, like above didn't like the cost of it, so I made some Felix Lube. I am happy w/ Felix so far, am still pan lubing as well.
