Just wondering in anyone had a done a lube with these 2 ingredients, and if so what the results were.

I have not.

My preference is to use beeswax as it has a higher flash point. The grease that I used to make my lube was Castrol (?) and its dark blue. I also have a touch of several other ingredients such as anhydrous lanolin, and Dexron III ATF, but the base is beeswax and nearly 75%. This made up into a lube that doesn't require heat, but isn't so soft and tacky as to be messy. I've used it exclusively in my CZ-527 7.62x39 bolt gun with the Lee C309-150F 160gr flatpoint. The lube works well enough that I lube only the small space ahead of the gas check, and I'm running full throttle with excellent accuracy. It shows no sign of lead after hundreds of rounds, and the last group I fired was a 3 shot POI verification at 100 yards that is just an oval hole.

I use 50% lithium grease and 50% cathedral candles--the candles consist of 51% Beeswax and 49% Paraffin (I get the stumps from an area church) . It works just fine for me.

I use carnuba wax, bees wax, lithium grease and liquid alox. Works well for me. If the mixture comes out too soft, I add more carnuba or bees wax...

Paraffin seems to be inferior as a carrier of the greases to beeswax. I've done it in small batches to see the effect, and went right back to beeswax.

I'll have to agree with 35remington, I too think that paraffin should be minimized or totally left out of bullet lube. Preferably the later.

Thanks fellas- I understand that beeswax is a better option (and have a bit stashed away), I was just wondering if there is a decent paraffin based lube for emergency sake. Seems like Darr is pretty much the only one, and I understand that Darr is at it's best under 1600.
