Just acquired a mint condition Dan Wesson 357 with 4" barrel
wondering what loads would work well with it

Have the following powders

imr 4227
reloader 7
h110
AA9

want to shoot mainly cast

I have not loaded 357 in a long time, but AA#9 is still one of my favorites.

H110 works well for near full house loads. Reloader7 is a medium slow rifle powder, so stay away from that. I don't use the other 2.

This is Hornady's load for the .357 depending on bullet you use:

I like AA9 and H110. I think AA9 is better below 158gr and H110 is better above 158gr.
