Have been helping the local pregnancy crisis center rehab an old medical clinic building. This week we dismentaled the old X-Ray unit and removed some of the walls to convert it into a larger room. Now I have over 250 lbs. lead sheeting in my garage.

One of the best stories I've read about lead finds is when a couple of blokes tendered to remove all the lead from an old building about to be demolished in Perth, West Australia.

They offered $5 and as they were the only "contractors" who tendered to do the job, they got it.

And as they were stripping the lead, they found a $5 bill! So effectively, it was all free. :drinks:
