I fitted a used New Model grip to the left side after installing the correct blackened hardware and medallion in it. I gave the grips a couple of coats of Min-Wax Satin Tung Oil Finish to make them match better. Just a cheap shooter and woodsbum pistol.

It looks real nice. I'm starting to like those SA's. Always been a S&W guy but....

Bubba had filed some finger grooves in the original LH grip pannel. It had a Houge rubber Monogip installed but I couldn't bear to look at it. I'll have about $350.00 in it.

A couple months ago I also came across a Ruger Super Blackhawk 7.5" blue. With red front sight insert and Pachmyer grips. $299.00 +tx!!!

HI,
Looks like my 1st 44 mag., which I regret selling.
Some don't like Rugers, but the 4 I have owned were/are good guns.:Fire::Fire:

I too got a 3 screw SBH real cheap. I bought a Old Army grip frame in carbon steel and had it fitted and blued. My grips are custom purpleheart with the Ruger medalion. Couldn't be happier and don't regret selling all my Model 29's.
