Been paying $3.50 a stick for LBT Blue and am looking for something a little less expensive but of good quality.

Needs to be versatile so I can run it in my rifles and handguns. Nothing loaded over 1900fps and even that is stretching it.

Any recommendations?

white label bac or carnuba red depending upon whether or not you use a heater ( red needs it , bac doesnt ) cant argue with the price ( under $2 ) and a small bit of reading will find lots of supporters here ( and with good reason ! )

Magma lube or White Lable CR. The BAC is pretty soft for warm weather use IMO.

Felix Lube in case you'd care to brew your own. Here's how it's done: http://castboolits.gunloads.com/showthread.php?t=543

+1 for Felix Lube. If you want it blue, add a blue crayon.

I've been using a lube that a super guy and member here made for me. It is not super soft but you don't need a heater he used a mixture of beeswax and Lucas red and tacky. I can't remember the exact ratio but it is a simple lube to make and works great. If interested drop Robs a pm I'm sure he'd gladly share the recipe

I use White Label Carnuba Red for everything you are doing. I do use LBT BS if I am going to shoot rifles over 2,300 fps. Don't need a heater here in AZ.
