I Finally have all the parts I need to finish a aingle-shot Remington 700 in 5.7FN. It has a 1-14" twist barrel, to be cut with a PTG reamer. I intend to make it a Cheap-to-Shoot-Cast-Bullet-150-200-yard plinker. Critters would have to be closer, I think. Anyhow, what mold would folks suggest? Quickload suggests no problem achieving 2000+ FPS from a 24" barrel. I have cast and shot fair number of BIG bullets sucessfully, but nothing like .22. I would appreciate any advice.

Custom most likely........... depends on your throat dimensions. I would look at the Saeco 22 mold as a start. Realize that that 14 twist is probably going to limit the length of boolit you'll be able to stabalize.

Well, this is the one that got away, a 37 grain flatnose with a gascheck:

Swede is all sold out, but maybe one could put together a small group buy rerun.
