The Lyman 450 and 4500 use a sizing die retaining nut that requires a 7/8" wrench. Don't have a RCBS sizer so I don't know what size they are. Anybody with a RCBS unit care to share that info?

They aren't interchangeable are they?

Thanks in advance.

If my rememberer is accurate (highly questionable!) it's 15/16" for the RCBS. I know I got a shorty box end wrench at Sears for mine, so it's got to be a common size.

Wayne has it right, I just measured mine and coated with old lube I got .940 on the chinese dial calipers. I have know idea about the thread pitch, other than it is very fine.

I usually use a 10" Cresent hammer on mine, and just snug it.
