I haven't brewed a beer in almost a year. :drinks:
I picked up some grain and yeast last week.
I brewed a simple Sour Cherry Ale yesterday.

Today, I brewed a Smokie Stout
It turned out as thick as Mississippi River water,
I am calling it: "Delta 88"

It should be ready in December for all the Holiday Get togethers :2 drunk buddies:

I just bottled 3 gallons of milk and honey stout. Instead of using lactose I actually used whey from my cheese making. I did make a small mistake and ended up with a much higher alcohol content than I expected (14%) but it tastes great, looks like soy sauce however, lol. It will be a good counter point to my light honey ale.

I haven't brewed since 86. But when I hear about a mistake ending in 14%, it gets me thinking about starting again. Still got the equip. My favorites were always some form of pale ale. The darks never came out so well. And I love beer with FLAVOR!!!

I bottled this yesterday.
the gravity ended a little higher than I planned on (1.033)
I had 'encouraged' the fermentation (by adding heat) for the last week,
to no avail.
Anyway, it's bottled and will be enjoyed during the holidays
