Starline 45/70 brass is finally here from the group buy!!! Now I can start my journey with paper condoms.

I went to a shoot this morning and shot paper patch boolits from my C. Sharps 1874 model. I quickly loaded 5 just to see if my method would be even close enough. I am pleased to say I hit the 400 yard steel every time. I went with 75gr of 3F Swiss as I do with my greasers. I normally use an HD plastic .030 wad I punch myself. This time in order to take up the space I used a .060 Walters wad, a .125 lube wad and another .060 Walters wad. Then a BACO 525gr money wrapped in BACO paper to .450. It was a real tight fit but fortunately a friend had a cartridge seater that help alot. I used my usual fouling control method of a blow tube to see if there'd be a difference. I'm happy with it so far and will keep going in this direction to see where it takes me. Thank you guys who have contributed all the knowledge that you have here and elsewhere.
