Got it Back

I traded off a Marlin 36A in 35 Remington for a 336 CB 38-55 a while back and kind of regretted it. The individual I traded to liked my Rossi 357 and did not like the Marlin as it wanted to walk to the right. I told him to remove the forearm and work it over, he said he may send it down the road. We traded. I reworked the forearm and it does not walk anymore. I did not dislike the 357 but can get one again easily, the Marlin is rare and I am really glad to have it back. It has a 24 inch barrel and half magazine. At this time I put a red dot on it as deer season is very close and I have a scoped rifle and a iron sighted one.
Looks like I can try it out this weekend.

I have a couple of 35 Marlins and would not consider trading either one off. Glad you got it back.

Computer had a virus and I was down for a bit. While I have shot loads of deer witha 270 and a 130 grain J bullet I have switched to lever guns and have always had confidence in the heavier bullets. Been working on the 38-55 to get cast to work and think I have found a good combo now. 35 will have a low power scope the 38-55 peep sights.

Always looking for another Marlin, in anything but 30/30(got one, 2 if you include dad's). 444, 38-55, 45-70, all on my want list!
