When you heat the mineral oil till it starts to smoke and then ad caster oil are you suposed to let it smoke the hole half hour you mix it or do you reduce the heat and mix for a half hour?????????

I usually reduce the heat slightly and stir it for the whole half hour with just a wisp of smoke coming off of it.

Same here and mine comes out great.

Same here. The goal of this I believe is to polymerize the oils to a degree, not to burn them. Keep them hot so the polymerization occurs as fast as possible, but not so hot as to burn the oil.
